Gripp Grants for Educational Innovation
The Foundation board awards grants to support projects in the schools and community. Grant applications are welcomed from anyone or any organization that makes a proposal consistent with the mission of the foundation. Our grant program is named in memory of teacher and Foundation board member Phyllis Gripp.
The following criteria in the decision making process

- Funding partnership by other school or community organizations
Gripp Grant Process
Grant Applications must be submitted by the two grant cycle deadlines, October 15 and February 15. Applications are first reviewed by the Recommendations Gripp Grant Committee. (RGGC)
RGGC is made up of District 39 teachers, Foundation trustees and community members. Composition of the RGGC represents each building as well as various grade levels and areas of curriculum. This committee makes its recommendations to the Foundation Board which is the final step in decisions regarding funding.
