Apply for a Gripp Grant

Summary

Grant Applications should be submitted by the two grant cycle deadlines, October 15 and February 15. Applications are first reviewed by the Recommendations Gripp Grant Committee. (RGGC)

Effective for the first time in the February ’07 Gripp Grant cycle, the Foundation now offers three grant applications from which to chose (in Microsoft Word format):

  • Seedling Grants - Awarded to first-time Gripp Grant applicants in amounts up to $500.  Seedling Application
  • Master Grants - Awarded in amounts over $500. Master Application
  • Encore Grants - Awarded for Foundation funded projects that have been successful elsewhere in District 39. Encore Application

Outside of the bi-annual cycle, Professional Development grants are reviewed on an as needed basis.  According the amount requested, use the appropriate application above.

Many people need to review grant applications. To expedite this process, we ask that you provide an electronic copy of your application in addition to a paper copy which contains original signatures. Electronic copies can be emailed to Wendy Irwin  wendyirwin@aol.com . The paper copy should be sent to the Gripp Grant Foundation Gripp Grant Committee at the MEC address, 615 Locust, Wilmette, IL 60091. If you cannot send a copy of the application via email, please submit the original and 10 copies to the MEC address.

When grant recipients file their receipts to receive the funds, they will also be asked to complete an evaluation of the project.
